Anubian's Quest is a short 3d isometric metroidvania made for the RPGMaker Jam 2025.

Guide the Anubian though a dangerous dungeon find an ancient relic that will give them powers beyond expectations!  Classic interconnected design with power ups to access new areas. 30min to 1 hour of gameplay!

Information

Took myself 6 days to develop Anubian's Quest. (4-14-25 to 4-20-25)
Developed the game by myself. I was inspired by old iso games such as Equinox and other Eurojank such as The Last Ninja. I wanted to give it a metroidvania twist.  While I didn't get to add all the features I wanted to the game, I am proud of what I was able to do and the fact I was able to complete it with six hours remaining.

While I did cheeky include the 'beyond expectations' in the game's story, It was mostly the idea of making a isometic metroidvania in RPGMaker was beyond MY expectations for the power of this software. There was a few times where I was ready to give up but I stuck to it.

Artwork was made by myself. Use some graphical assets from a previous game I was developing as well as some RMMZ stock assets that 
I modified for the game.

Known Glitches
Sometimes you can still jump with a message box open.
There is probably some out of bounds bugs that I still need to fix.
